It is a matter of immense pleasure to note that Manas Valley Academy is agog with ecstasy to embrace a New Year with fresh academic zeal and zest. Pondering over the bygone years, I get thrilled how a humble aim for establishing a CBSE pattern of institution at Barpeta Road has been materialized and completed its mission in 2014 with tremendous success as the first batch of our little learners passed out the 10th standard with flying colours. Back in 2003, a group of educated young-turns started an NGO ‘SRISTI’ at Barpeta Road, for socio-economic reformation and academic amelioration of the people of Greater Barpeta Road and its suburbs. The then unhealthy academic scenario impelled rather compelled the members to shift over to the National Pattern of Education System and establish Manas Valley Academy under the aegis of CBSE to impart the best education to the young learners and make them the best citizens of India in body, mind and spirit. It was a long-felt grievance of the people of not having a CBSE pattern school in the locality but left to be addressed yet. I am beside myself with pleasure that our humble dream turned into a vision and the vision gradually shaped into a reality.
I hope, that a day may come when MVA will reach national and even international standard by the blessings of the Almighty. I am thankful to all the respected members of the Trust, the respected members of S.M.C., to the Director, the Principal, the teaching and non-teaching staff including our most-valued guardians for their love, endeavour and unbiased selfless patronship in shaping and moulding MVA and gradually accelerating the institution for a bright future.
Long live MVA
With Best Regards to All
